Having connected with an old friend over the phone, we planned to have lunch the next day to reminisce over old times.  When he failed to show up for lunch, I called to check on him, only to find out that he had passed away later that night, after we had talked.

This song is about not taking life for granted, to live each day to its fullest, like it’s your last, and to reach out while you can, to those old friends who we mistakenly think will always be around.
